Global Partners Completes Acquisition of Alliance Energy LLC

WALTHAM, Mass., March 2, 2012
Global Partners LP (NYSE: GLP) has completed the previously announced acquisition of Alliance Energy LLC, a gasoline distributor and operator of gasoline stations and convenience stores.
Together, Alliance and Global have a portfolio of approximately 800 gas stations in nine Northeastern states.
In conjunction with the closing, Alliance President Andrew Slifka has joined Global Partners as President of the Partnership’s service station, C-store and related supply division. In addition, he will become a member of the Board of Directors of Global GP LLC in the second quarter of 2012.

Alliance Energy LLC Purchases 89 Gas Stations from ExxonMobil in Connecticut

WALTHAM, Mass., November 15, 2010
Exxon Mobil Corp. reached an agreement with Alliance Energy LLC in October to sell its real-estate interests for 89 Mobil-branded retail stations located in Connecticut, the major oil company has confirmed. Twelve dealer-owned locations will be assigned to Alliance Energy as part of this sale.
All of the stations will continue to operate under the Mobil brand as part of a long-term branding agreement between ExxonMobil and Alliance Energy.
